Our HR Administrator plays a key role within the People Team, dedicated to the smooth and efficient operation of our HR processes. You will provide comprehensive support throughout the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding and offboarding to driving process improvements. By collaborating closely with both the People team and other departments, you will help create a positive, productive work environment where employees feel supported and valued.

This is an exciting opportunity for anyone looking to grow their HR career, with the ambition to deepen their understanding and gain practical, hands-on experience. Whether you’re a recent HR graduate, have exposure to HR operations, or come from high-volume admin roles like PA/EA or office admin, we want to hear from you. Your attention to detail, intuitive approach and passion for building relationships will be essential to supporting various HR functions within our dedicated People team.

Where and how you can work...

With our HQ in Brisbane, we also have offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland, and Wellington, to name a few! This part time role will ideally be based in Brisbane.

Working days will fall between Monday and Friday however the ability to work Mondays and Tuesdays is highly desirable.

Your day-to-day...

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the People team across the employee lifecycle.
  • Coordinate on-boarding and off-boarding for employees and contractors.
  • Prepare employment contracts, letters, new employee packs, and conduct necessary checks for AML compliance.
  • Maintain a high-volume HR inbox and respond to stakeholder queries, providing accurate information and escalating issues when needed.
  • Maintain and update all people-related documentation and records to ensure accuracy.
  • Offer ongoing support to the wider People team, assisting with various HR functions as needed.
  • Actively participate in People projects and initiatives to streamline processes and enhance the overall employee experience.

What you’ll bring...

  • An HR qualification, or demonstrated experience in a high-volume HR, office admin, or PA/EA capacity is essential.
  • Experience in People-related processes paired with familiarly with People systems and platforms would be ideal.
  • Sharp eye for detail, commitment to accuracy, and a strong work ethic are essential.
  • An intuitive approach to relationship building and drive to foster a supportive workplace culture.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting and conflicting priorities with a calm, flexible, and collaborative approach.
