About the Role


An experienced art director and illustrator is seeking a junior-level illustrator to create a series of realistic illustrations for a stage play adaptation of a short story. This project requires the creation of 100-200 detailed visuals to support the theatrical production. The position offers an opportunity for a talented beginner to gain valuable experience in the field of theatrical illustration and potentially secure future collaborations.


Responsibilities:


  • Create 100-200 realistic illustrations based on the short story and stage play requirements
  • Work closely with the art director to understand and accurately represent the vision for the play
  • Develop visuals that effectively convey the story's atmosphere, characters, and key scenes
  • Ensure consistency in style and quality across all illustrations

  • Junior-level experience in illustration, with a focus on realistic styles
  • Strong drawing skills and ability to create detailed, lifelike illustrations
  • Proficiency in digital illustration software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools)
  • Basic understanding of theatrical design and visual storytelling
  • Ability to interpret written descriptions and convert them into visual representations
