As a QA Engineer at SquarePeg, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions in the accounting industry. Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain automated tests to improve the efficiency of our testing processes.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand and clarify requirements.
- Execute manual testing for complex scenarios and provide detailed feedback.
- Identify and document defects and work with developers to resolve issues.
- Participate in code reviews and provide input on design and implementation.
- Monitor and report on testing progress, and suggest improvements.
- Stay current with industry best practices in QA methodologies and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in software testing.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
