Boldspace is seeking an ambitious and dedicated Junior Designerto support our design team in producing high-quality visual work across presentations, digital display, print, and PR assets. Working under the guidance of both the Senior Designer and two other graphic designers, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the agency’s creative output is consistently polished and on-brand.


We’re looking for someone hungry to grow and develop within a fast-paced, creatively driven environment. You’ll be expected to produce work that in in tune with our high standard, with a focus on precision, consistency, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will bring a discerning eye for layout and composition and a holistic approach to each project—considering the relationship between visuals and copy to produce designs with impact. A compelling portfolio showcasing a range of bold, imaginative design is essential, demonstrating the flair, creativity, and detail that define the Boldspace standard.

The Role


As a Junior Artworker, you’ll be responsible for producing and refining assets for a variety of uses, including presentations, digital display ads, print artwork, and PR materials. Reporting to both the Senior Designer and our two other graphic designers, you’ll have a significant impact on the quality and efficiency of our design team’s output. This role offers a unique opportunity to hone your skills within a supportive team and learn from more experienced designers.


 


Key Responsibilities


  • Support the team by artworking and finalizing design assets across presentations, digital display, print, and PR materials.
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and high quality in all assets, adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Organize and prepare assets for final output, including setting up files correctly for print or digital use.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure designs meet the strategic and creative needs of each project.
  • Adapt designs based on feedback and develop an understanding of the broader context for each asset.
  • Enthusiasm for a broad design role, covering branding and identity assets, print, marketing and environmental materials, digital designs, illustrations and motion graphics.

 


Key Technical Skills


  •  Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, with basic knowledge of After Effects for simple animations.
  • Familiarity with Figma and a willingness to develop proficiency in the tool for digital asset creation.
  • Understanding of file formats, export requirements, and color spaces for both digital and print applications.
  • An eye for typography, layout, and the ability to understand and implement design best practices.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring files are consistently named and stored.

  • Strong communication skills, receptive to constructive feedback and able to work collaboratively within the team.

  • Multitasking: seamlessly transition between diverse projects, effectively prioritising tasks and managing time to meet deadlines and project requirements.
